Is it just to work QB and receivers, along with defensive backs? 6 receivers?

‘Splain it like I’m 5.

God Dammit, this place is turning into the Rant 2.0. It’s every thread on the OT I open these days. keep your football talk over on the rant with the rest of the rantards.

What difference does it make to you?

Do you have a son that plays football or something?

They shouldn't even call it football, because it isn't.

Ok, buddy, you see that team over there in red. Their seven players are gonna throw the ball to each other and try to cross that line waaay down there to score points. The team in black, their seven players are going to try and stop them from catching the ball and getting across that line by touching them.

Then they will switch and the team in black will try to throw it and cross that line to score and the red team will try and stop them .

whichever team scores the most at the end of the time will win and give each other high fives.

doesnt that sound fun bud.

ETA: Tell me you're a mathlete without saying it.

Seems like it would be a more fun form of football. All the QB recruit highlight videos never seem to show 7 guys on defense.

Watched the Howard video this morning and I just don’t understand the setup.

They mostly run field goal drills but just with seven players, in case everyone else on the team gets hurt in the game. That way, if that situation happens, they'll be ready.

Seems like they’re the only ones with a pass:

We have a 7on7 scheduled for the 8th. I'm waiting on a call back to set the times and location. I'll get the information out once it's finalized. Lineman will not attend the 7on7.
