I read that GMC Denali's were one of the most profitable automobile brands.

All cosmetic as far as I know. But yes, GMC is considered a little step up I think.

There is a GMC dealer in New Roads that is better than any Chevy or Ford dealer I've encountered.

Correct. Frame and Drivetrain are all the same. They change up the front and rear "caps" for the two to make them different on the exterior.

GMC typically has a nicer interior base model across their platform.

My 2014 GMC SLT has brushed metal accents and stitched dashboard where my friends 2014 Z71 loaded out Silverado has silver plastic accents and no stitching. I also got front bucket seats at no additional cost as apposed to an upgrade for the Chevy.

I prefer the GMC look to the Chevrolet trucks usually.

Yukon Denali is probably my favorite looking large SUV.

Lol lol....at no additional cost added to factory price. You definitely paid for them unless you negotiated better than your friend.

They are usually sold in different locations and the GMC badge costs about 4-8 grand.

What's kind of crazy is that, comparably equipped, a new GMC generally costs a little more, but when they get old, in good and comparable condition and same options, the Chevrolet is way more valuable.

The expensive crew cabs aren't very collectible either, but the short bed regular cabs, which are the cheapest you can buy new, are way the hell more expensive when they get old, condition/other options being the same.

Soft touch features mostly. Leather is a little nicer, has leather in more places, engine is better in the Denali vs the Ltz Tahoe.

One’s for full blown queers - the other’s for trannies. Y’all decide which is which.

They're literally the exact same thing when comparing equivalent equipment groups.

The 6.2 in the Denali is the only difference.

Way back when, General Motors, a holding company for Buick bought a truck manufacturing company and GMC Trucks was born. That's the only difference. They are built on the same assembly lines (don't know if this is still true) as Chevy trucks. I remember my dad buying a new 1976 Chevy Cheyenne that had Sierra Grande emblems on the dash.
