Damn that hole! Literally should have been fixed and paved in a day or two. That bastard made me change my route to drop off the dog at camp bow wow in the morning.

It's not an election year so you don't hear about these things.

People haven't learned by now that politicians create these issues, usually through indirect groups, to get people worked up.

Lol. The statues are not a concern to people voting in Nola elections. The only person who spoke about the statues in last mayoral election was that nut who owned the bounce house rental company.

Guarantee virtually no one that is still rustled by this has established residence in the parish. Mitch was an a-hole. He took down the statues. My streets are still fricked up.

Take down every fricking statue if you get the pothole on Tchoup and Toledano fixed forever.

Guarantee that the communities and leaders who erected and cared about those statues didnt allow the infrastructure to crumble. They actually did something about it instead of whine and then continue to just put up with it.
People like you moved in, took over, and turned their city into shite.
So yes, the people capable of doing anything about your problems did move out (voted with their feet). And yes, they likely cared about the statues.

Also probably lost/stolen/sold.

Guarantee some padnah of Bitch has it stowed away under the guise of virtue. They really know those statues will be worth a mint in another decade or so. NOLA crooked gonna crooked.

Should have taken them when they moved.

Oh yeah, even Metry didn't want them.

This is what a-holes like Mitch want, for people to just forget about them. LC
Then maybe you should petition your HOA to have a Confederate General guarding the entrance of your community so that no one forgets about your heroes.

The downvotes will come from suburbanites who left but still want to pretend their opinion matters. Keep coming back and giving your tax money to see the Zac Brown Band, boys.

They don’t come here anymore. Don’t you remember? Everyone is now boycotting NOLA. It’s a complete ghost town.

First off, I don't live in a community with an HOA, that's for cucks like you.

Second of all, you do know that Mitch and now the next idiotic mayor of NOLA have no intention of letting go of those statues, right?

Last I heard they were in a warehouse somewhere.

I’ve heard that Beauvoir in Biloxi and a couple of places in Virginia offered to take them off the city’s hands, but were refused. I don’t think they’ll see the light of day until, like someone said in a previous post, a decade passes and the city sells them for big $$$.

Gone and not comin' back.

And, apropos of nothing, in 2018 the murder rate in New Orleans hit a 47-year low. LINK

Exactly what I said. No one really cared about the statues. Whether they stayed or went.
