If you put it out on the curb and someone doesn't take it before sunset, I'd be shocked.
There is an old black dude with a trailer that comes through our neighborhood almost every Sunday and if it's even remotely worth anything or can be potentially fixed he's taking it.
He must sell refurbished stuff for a living or something.

A hammer. Seriously. Just beat on it until it's in easily movable pieces.

If you're in EBR they will pick it up within two weeks. I've put all kinds of crap out there and they always pick it up.

One of the “disabled Veterans” groups will come pick it up, you WILL NOT FIND A BETTER CAUSE than to hell out the “Disabled Veterans” in need for anything and everything.
Google it for the win, I had the old # for the NOLA area group, but It’s been a while, and thank God I don’t live in Nola anymore neither, lol

Check into Pay it Forward in whatever city you live. We just got rid of a couch in an hour using that site.

Update: My contractor is taking the armoire off my my hands. He’s taking it back to the barrio. Perhaps one of his cousins from Honduras can make a house out of it.

Put it out by the street but put a “for sale” sign on it. It’s sure to get stolen then.

Put it in your curb with a sign saying $100 OBO. Someone will steal it.

Where I live you just call the police jury office and they come pick it up. Items like washers, dryers, mattresses, sofa’s, etc. They do this once a week. You just have to give them your address.
