Wow I had to google sea donkey to be able to give a thoughtful reply. Sea donkey: when something takes your bait at full speed and no matter what you do you cannot stop it from breaking you off.

Sounds like you met desperate people and would do better in person where people aren’t clamoring for mates. I read about a really fun experiment that worked for a guy. He was afraid to approach women so he was advised to talk to 100 women to get more comfortable. He did this all over - malls, grocery stores, etc.

He was shocked at how many women were happy to talk to him. Try it and post the results up. You might meet your special lady!

Bumble seems to be popular now. Judging by wife’s friends (no pics).

The concept is better than a bunch of hounds chasing the 5% of rabbits deemed desirable on most of those sites.

Prob depends on where you are but id say hinge.

Bumble seems nice, but no matter how much these modern women scream about empowerment, they are still too chicken shite to actually start a conversation with you. So i say hinge since you can just message anyone you come across on there.

How about do it the old fashioned way. Get out and meet one. Whether at a bar, concert, whatever.

Circa like 2017 a bunch of women basically claimed they were raped by men that were just hitting on them.

No hanky panky in the reference section please …
Go hangout in the 800s, no one in there, and it's off the beaten path, so to say, as opposed to reference front and center.

I just know I can’t do this forever…financially. It makes much more sense to have a mate help with expenses. It’s so fricking expensive here

Women are looking for dudes that pay the bills, not dudes looking for help with theirs.

I was on the receiving end of BS allegations during this time. Haven’t tried dating since, just too big a risk.

You'll find better prospects at Whole Foods & Target than any dating app!

Hinge seems to be the best. If you really want to save on rent, try Feeld and start up a polycule.
