What’s stopping you from moving somewhere else?

Is it a job? Family? Friends? Unsure about leaving where you are? COVID?

For me, I do like where I live, although I’m guessing there’s a lot of great places in the country I’d feel the same way about if I ever gave them a chance. I like my job (which can’t be done remotely under normal circumstances) and we just bought a place, so that’s my reasoning.

Also, “I have no desire to move” is a perfectly valid answer. But if you would like to move, where?

Honestly I’m just bored on a Sunday and thought I’d throw out a random question. Kind of like OweO, but I admit what I’m doing.

I'm not sure any country would accept my passport. Costa Rica and chile seems nice tho.

In the current climate, raising 4 Caucasian boys, moving to an island is a serious consideration. I'm not joking.

Money/family/logistics are my biggest setbacks right now.

Money. Doesn't make economic sense to move to a high cost of living area.

I am trying to make a move. My girl just took a job on other side of country, i am trying to find a job there as well. I have only lived in Louisiana so I am open to trying something new

Where at? I suggest trying it. I was in the same boat as you. 7 years later, I’m grateful I did it.

Wife and her family. Otherwise I would have left this pathetic state years ago.

Planning a move to St. George. Seems like a great place to raise a family.

Make sure it’s a place you really want to be before pulling the trigger. Being led around by the dick can be dangerous.

Family. If not for them, I'd have been looooooong gone. I'm still planning on retiring somewhere else for sure.

I agree. I was the first to say Tier 2 was way too high for me.
