I learned or relearned that their isn't really a day off for a man that is married with kids.

Couple Midwest posters thinking poor people on islands in the middle of the ocean should have just easily evacuated. Use their little boats to leave.

Eta: I’m laughing at how clueless some of those posters are....not the poor people in the Bahamas

I learned that pressure washing your home remains one of the more satisfying rites of American manhood.

Gotta have somewhere to go to leave. Even here. Asking someone who’s entire existence is in one place to leave it all behind is asking a lot.

A lot people who don’t have to deal with hurricanes don’t always understand how hard it is to leave.

We are currently in a quantum computing "moonshot" with the Chinese and they're are outspending and pacing us as of now. And rather than pride, it's about security.
