How much elephant dung do you think you are breathing in?

I don’t really care what’s in it, but the helicopter I flew all day through that mess needs a good wash. Caked in that crap.

Elephants frequent the Sahara?

There are some Elephants in the Sahara. There used to be a shite ton of desert elephants in Africa but ancient civilizations used them for warfare drove them into extinction during Roman times

To the camel dung, several millennia worth of Bedouin dung.

Just think of the Brazilian rain forest muttering thank you.

African elephants can’t be domesticated. Romans got the from India. And elephants can’t live without water. No such thing as a desert elephant besides a mammoth

Well that all sounds good except you are 100% wrong

The Greeks got their elephants from India especially post Alexander, the Romans didn’t use elephants much but mostly fought against them while fighting Carthage and other African civilizations. The elephants they used were a mix of African and Indian

10000000% they used to have North African elephants, including some desert elephants, in fact there are still a few although most are gone
