Not an irrational fear, but I do fear a house fire and I’m not home to save my pets. Seems to be quite common.
Gee thanks, I never thought of that one until now.

Sleep. I have somnophobia. I can sleep but I will wake myself up every few hours or so through out the night. Pills don't help. Anxiety meds help a little bit, but it is what it is.
Try the headspace app. Your root cause isn’t sleeping/bedtime itself, but everything else throughout the day.

They’ve had auto-brakes for decades. Fear resolved.

That somehow the plumbing pipes are all connected and something that goes down one pipe can come out another. Like if you're brushing your teeth and someone flushes a deuce.
I KNOW plumbing doesn't work that way but for some reason my brain prompts that error code.

Vomiting. Amd the anticipation that precedes it. Full on panic attack and a sense of impending doom. I’ve tried therapy multiple different types, hypnosis, self help books, combination of all the above. Not really sure what else to do. It’s a real problem. If anyone has advice regarding this, I’d be happy to listen to it.

Mr. Otis invented the safety elevator in like 1880.
Also they are counterweighted and it’s 6 separate ropes, pretty impossible for all 6 to be cut. A modern elevator simply cannot fall.
A hydraulic elevator could break and go downward but it would be a slow descent as the oil leave the machine.

As far as "irrational" fears go, any time I'm driving over 60ish mph I'm constantly concerned I'm going to have a tire blow out and go tumbling end over end to my death one random Tuesday morning.
The route I used to drive to work in my early 20s was notorious for potholes and construction debris, my tires would regularly have multiple nails and screws either causing slow leaks or just stuck in there holding the air inside. I became a professional at plugging tires.
Pretty much any interstate driving at high speeds I'm constantly thinking about how the smallest thing can lead to a fiery death no one saw coming. You can just be driving along one day with your family in the car and a random piece of road debris or mechanical defect send you into the trees at 80 mph.
I'm stressed out even just typing all this.

This! It still happens to me. Another annoying one is forgetting that you’re no longer in school and for a moment you think you were forgetting to go to class.
