I haven't smoked any pots today..

There are many places in the world where you could walk for days and not see another soul, and yet land STILL only covers about 30% of the earth's surface. Makes me marvel at just how much 70% ocean actually is.

Also, there are 11 time zones in Russia.

If you placed Mount Everest at the bottom of the Mariana Trench, the peak would still be 2,133 meters (7,000 feet) below sea level.

I think this would be that 50% of people are below median intelligence.

Average can be skewed one way or another depending.

These 2 events occurred on the same day

- Author Sylvia Plath killed herself by sticking her head into an oven.
- Julia Child's TV cooking show debuted. A show where she made a career out of putting things into an oven.

One life ends, and another begins.

I had a scare a few years ago and did a ton of research HSV-1 (cold sores) are so common.

HSV-2 is the one you gotta really worry about

The world is made up of three kind of people. Those who can count, and those who can't.

If you have 50 people in a room, there is a 97% chance that at least two of them will have a shared birthday.

Mount Chimborazo (due to the equatorial bulge) in Ecuador is the peak farthest from the center of the earth.

Mauna Kea is the tallest mountain from base to peak.

You have to bag all three to avoid the akshually folks from harshing your mountaineering buzz.
