High pressure sucks arse most of the time unless it’s steering a hurricane away.

It's been the opposite here in east central Georgia. That's about all it has been doing every afternoon and evening since June

I think we had 2 pop ups the whole summer.

I’m in Katy and I really think it’s been since May since we’ve had a drop at my house. And not even rain clouds anywhere in the area. Barely any clouds of any type at all. Just baking sun every day.

We got a little rain last week at our house but it wasn't enough to do much. 15 minute shower or whatever. We need a good rainy week really

They happen in May and June. By late July and August, they are a thing of the pst.

at this point, if there’s a square inch of your lawn that isn’t being covered by a sprinkler system, it’s burnt brown.

2 years ago I couldn’t mow my yard for a month this time of year because it rained every damn day

Weather has this weird habit of changing.

Wait a tic

You’re on the wrong side of the ridge. It rains basically every single day now in North AL.

The climate has changed. Texas and Louisiana over time will be as sandy as the Sahara.

Just got another ¼". That makes 4 ¾" so far for August. Also got a 39mph gust.

Really? Just a year ago people from south LA 'round this joint were whining about too much rain.
