this phone has a double sided usb connector and no one here has one because I work at the corporate office and we all have Iphones no Samsungs.

Please, go get a charger. Easiest way to solve this OT mystery.
Go to the closest convenience store and get a cheap throw-away.
Like I've already said, once you turn this over to the police, we'll never know the outcome.
I'm sure everyone at your workplace is as curious as those of us on this board - they won't mind if you duck out for 20 minutes or so.

no but I offered in the event they needed to dust for fingerprints, plus they know where I work and have my personal phone number to track my movements. Either I am innocent or the worst serial killer the world has ever seen.

Cops called back said they would pick it up after lunch today so that is where we are at this time.

I hope there is no foul play and she wasn't taken against her will. No woman would leave all that willy nilly.

It was stolen from a bar or from an unlocked car and tossed by some kids joy riding and looking for a quiet place to park and smoke some weed.

This thread sounds like the beginning on an OT murder/kidnap mystery being solved...or the OT busting a married woman cheating on her husband with a shop employee.

Either way....

I have no idea what lunch time is considered for the Bibb County GA Sheriffs office but it is 11 here so no that far off. Deputy seems to think it was stolen downtown and a homeless person stashed it, but considering there was prozac and methadone in the purse along with a cell phone and other personal affect I can't see that being the case.

Serial killer? Who said anything about a serial killer? Why did you bring that term up? Kinda weird if you ask me. You happen to notice a purse outside of work very early in the morning, then conveniently ask later on if anyone knows anything about it, then voluntarily turn it over to the police and all of a sudden you're mentioning a serial killer?
