Have you gone up to a high spot and looked around for buzzards flying around? If you see them circling she is probably below them.

Call the Police.

She's having an affair with someone at the shop and doesn't want anyone to know she was in Macon.

Judging by the information on Facebook, she does not appear to be a prostitute and it appears she is married with a couple of kids, and no I am not giving out the name.

You're about to spend all day tomorrow sitting in one of these fielding questions that you cant answer.

Keep the OT updated on the situation. I'm curious about this.

Have you tried CALLING her? You said you texted her number, but didn't call?

Friend request her husband on FB, and ask him. That way if she's fricking some dude in the shop, it'll get interesting real fast.

Beyond that, call the police. They can handle this, or at the very least check missing persons.

Yeah, I'm hoping you've already tried calling. That should've been a no-brainer once you found her phone #.

This is a good idea too. FB message her husband and people who are tagged in pics she's posted recently. Tell them the situation.

This is starting to sound kind of messed up.

Call police. You may not end up having a missing person case on your hands, but this is sure as hell how they start. Time is of the essence. No one is going to be mad at you for trying to do the right thing.

The phone number was a business card which we called and got no response and then I texted in case someone screens phones calls like I do if I don't recognize the number

Does your office have any security cameras that might show who put it there?

If she was separated from her purse, she's probably separated from her phone too.

She either got really drunk, or else something more nefarious. Either way, call the police. Wherever she is, she sure as hell isn't happy.

No security cameras that I am aware of. Cops have been called and are going to pick it up. HR did some more digging and found some prescriptions in there that would be a lucrative business on the streets if the purse was stolen so situation gets weirder

Exactly how "out of the way" is your place of business?

From the road, can you see the area where the purse was found? Does it have gates that are kept locked at night? Or could anyone have accessed that area?

not locked or gated, but it would not be an area that would be easily found coming from the interstate. We are back in an industrial district and there is only one road that leads back here so it doesn't get traffic besides from the businesses that are back here. Area where the purse was found can be seen from the road, but from where the purse was found to the main road would be close to 40 yards

Smart move manufacturing a public record of concern before you report to the police that you have the belongings of the woman you murdered.
