What would happen if the French Quarter was made a National Park?

This is just early Saturday morning, nothing to do, banter.
Do you think if the FC became a national park, would it help it, or would the Dept of the Interior come in and frick it up?

Absolutely not. They're also not very receptive of the ideas of the locals.
The last thing anyone should ever want if you want to keep something unique, is to let the Feds take it over.
