Large Gaboon Vipers and Eastern Diamond Rattlers can weigh low 40s. They'd be contenders.
ETA: I had a very vivid rattlesnake nightmare after looking up rattler weight last night. It's a recurring dream, usually involving copperheads. But this time it was a giant rattler living in a toolbox in my late grandfather's garage. I pinned it down and grabbed it and its fangs sort of nicked me. So the rest of the dream was wondering whether I had actually been infected. Fun.
