Hippopotamus is the correct answer.

Human's arent really earths top predator. Humans+tools are. The minute man drops his spear he is fricked.
Tools are an extension of our being, an extension - of our minds. Man.

no i dont.

product of =/= extension of
Take this for instance, dogs (not wolves) exist entirely because of man. There would be no dogs roaming the earth if there had been no people. We made them from wolves. Chihuahuas, Great Danes, Pit bulls, all of them. We made them as living tools; to complete tasks we needed to do. They are tools we made. Does that mean that dogs are an extension of man? Can they not hold their own place on the predator heiarchy, or must they only be allowed to improve our permission?

I have no idea what this means.

Whether it's a screwdriver, a .45 automatic or a 74' Chevy Nova, it's all part of what we are.

Crocodilians. They are equally at home on land and in the water, live in almost every continent and are extremely tough. Nothing trifles with them when they reach full maturity and almost nothing can withstand their attack.
Haven't seen the jaguars killing Cayman videos? I am sure that an 800 pound tiger could accomplish the same against any crocodilian.

Im not sure if your trolling. But I also dont think it matters for this conversation to entertain me.
How far does that thought process extend for you? Is fruit as you know it apart of us? Dairy cows? Do you drive past a field of dairy cows, or a shelf of cabbage and say "look at all that humans"

Lions once existed in North Africa, and throughout much of western Asia and even eastern Europe, 500-1000 years ago. The reason they didn't survive is because of man wiping them out of 3/4 of their range. Today, Asiatic lions exist only in the Gujarat state of western India. Population, approximately 350 adults. So lions were once a very wide ranging cat, and are just as successful as wolves, but more cunning.

I don't see how we can qualify the wolf as a top predator because of their intelligence and complex social structure while in the same breath take away the far superior, innate intelligence of human beings.
