Ain't it convenient how he declared them a "nuisance" and then we got dudes with assault rifles supposedly "protecting" them?

Drain the Mississippi River. It transported slaves, cotton and racists!

I'm guessing the Rex Krewe is segregated so this is probably on the radar to go after eventually.
But of course Zulu can continue on as always !
Maybe the only way to truely bring NOLA together is to have a black Rex with a Latino queen and a white Zulu with a black queen.
Problem solved !

They're working on this. They've been phasing out the ability to offer go cups at lots of new bars. Welcome to anywhere USA. Hey, but at least we're proper progressive thinkers now.

Rex now has some token black guys. I'm guessing they will be pushing to have one as king. I'm fine with that, I guess. I haven't been invited to join or be king.

Zulu has always had white guys ride.

His ancestors might have owned slaves but the real issue in NO is white people. Just get rid of all of them and the city will become the greatest city ever over night.

Literally anyone can ride in Zulu. Now to be an actual member, that's different.

Seriously though, if they didn't allow that, the parade could never be funded.

Would these be whites in black-face, or blacks in white-face?

But if it does, I'll admit I was wrong about the statues not being a big deal.

Regardless whether you believe that these statues are critical or honorable, TEDN has already published a long list of "what's next". Removing these statues in a city like New Orleans will go a long way in empowering them, as well as liberals across the country, to become even more vocal and destructive.

This.

Alabama has already taken legislative action months ago to prevent this, as they saw it coming.

Louisiana should have done the same at LAST YEAR's session.
