Swimming in the Caribbean after jumping off our charter sailboat. Then cooking the lobsters we caught.
In the North Carolina mountains with the windows open at night hearing the cool wind and looking at the stars.
Also with my children and their significant others.

Mountain lake in the fall. Not too cold yet, but cool.

I like to hike deep into the woods or even just large patches of greenspace, where very few people have ever walked or seen. One of my favorite things to do is look on Google Earth for hidden lakes, streams, cliffs, and ponds or other unique features hidden out in the woods and go hike to them to see them in person.
I've gotten very good at moving through the woods quietly and often spend time with groups of white tail deer, getting close enough to even touch them sometimes. I also love seeing all the other wildlife in their habitat, it's beautiful.
I got to know this button buck well enough over time that he lets me come hang out with him whenever without being startled or taking off. He's a big 7 point now (he's always had uneven antlers, which is how I've always recognized him).
His little group of 2 other bucks and about 10 does lets me come sit and watch them up close outside of the rut, deep out in the woods. It's always a sort of spiritual experience to see these majestic deer, bucks especially, up close and personal and have their trust.

My home, I love it. Especially when my son is there. Its peaceful and it has all my stuff and I am an introvert so I don't get bored being there.

Watching my kids live and achieve life wishes.
On porch swing w/adult beverage while listening to Led Zeppelin.
In special Nola restaurant with the perfect seafood platter and spirit of life filled people around me.
Leg day while blasting leg day music playlist and setting new personal best lift.
On top of a high rise in (name your international city) pausing to think about how many people are on Earth and share so many things in common.
Dipping Oreo in whole milk for 2.5 seconds and devouring that little piece of life joy like my life depended on it.
At U2 concert reliving 1980’s with Guinness in my mind.
To name a few.

Funny how some places stick with you. I don’t own it anymore, but I used to have a hunting place around port Gibson ms. Those Friday evenings in the tractor, spraying, bush hogging, disking, and planting. The tractor had a cab with a radio that only had am/fm and the only two stations I could get were Vicksburg and port Gibson high school football. I don’t even watch football on tv, but those Friday nights in the tractor, listening to high school football are where I hope I go when I die.
Right now I’m on the deck looking at the sunset over Toledo bend, grill is going right behind me. I quit drinking years ago, but a nice scotch would complete the picture. Bills are paid and all is good.

At our home and acreage which is a secluded wooded lake paradise full of giant white oaks, maple trees, native azaleas and grape hollies and adjacent to a horse farm. It's like wild kingdom around where I live (ducks, geese, otters, eagles, herons, king fishers and more). Very long deck, sun room and screened porch view a wrap around fairly level waterfront on the back and one side of the house and horses on the front of the house. Large mouth bass and crappie fishing from the shoreline, but I fish from my jon boat that I winch on and off the bank. No wake boats, no jet skis, no piers, no swimming allowed in the lake. Boats with motors up to 25 HP. So there's pretty much only a few people fishing from mostly jon boats on the over 500 acre lake at any given time and they are all quiet. So it's just a serene quiet environment. No typical lake partying noise like on most lakes

Sitting on my toilet in the morning with a cup of coffee and reading El Guacho posts from the day before.

I have a few:
1. Riding around on my Kabota on the farm, using the grapple, the bushhog, the box blade, the loader, etc.
2. Slinging mud on my Jeep's and ATV's.
3. Paddling and fishing a Virginia river.
