What were your DNA Test Results

If you've had an ancestry test what were your results?
I got 66% Ireland, 3% British, 27% Western Europe, 3% Eastern Europe and 1% trace regions. The trace regions was mostly made up of my 0.6% Jewish ancestry.
I was a bit surprised by my lack of British ancestry and also my very small Jewish contribution.
And no I did not get any amount of sub-Saharan African ancestry. I'd be allowed in the white facilities in the one drop rule days.
I did not get any Native American, Arab or East Asian ancestry either.

Other is whatever trace regions you have.

Well since you brought it up. What if that "other" 1% is African? Can't really rule it out

That's what I was thinking..

They listed my trace regions and none were sub-Saharan African. They basically were Jewish and Iberian.

I've been seeing no more of these companies which is good to know. Competition should drop the prices. Or st least stay the same while the product gets exponentially better.
I almost order a kit from Ancestry.com last year while doing a 60 day free trial ok the website which was plenty long enough to chase down most of my blood.... never did have to pay tho
But I see now you have AncestryDNA, you also have the '23 and ME' , and maybe a couple other ones that have been on TV advertising Father's Day prices for like 20% off... any one better than others???
Anyone got feedback?

It was about 78% European (split between German, English, Irish, and Italian)
22% Middle Eastern Arab
And then 0.2% Sub-Saharan African.
The only surprise was the Italian
22% Middle Eastern Arab
And then 0.2% Sub-Saharan African.
The only surprise was the Italian

I wouldn't doubt I've got some English... you start going back in those Fanily Tree programs and start seeing how much blood is mixed.
I know my Kennedy family got off the boat in Biloxi Bay and Port of Orleans in the mid 1800s with the famine in full stride.... came from the same town in east Ireland as those fellas up in Mass fwiw.....
I have some German in my family, maybe that's where I get the aquiline or 'greek' nose

Can't argue with you on that. At least I thought I was as white as one could be.
