I didn’t know they had names. I guess the kids without a clique made the names.

From top to down:

1. Bros and the Hoes

2. Jocks

3. Normal people

4. FOB (fresh off the boat) and Nerds.

All you had to do to turn into a Bro was throw cool parties, have some intelligence but not too much to be a nerd, and hang out with people. Jocks couldn’t make Bro level unless they were smart. Our school knew that most Jocks aren’t going to get that far in life.

Kinda sad how we considered nerds to be at the bottom and now they are the ones who make the most money with their IT and computer science stuff.

we called the table where the black kids ate lunch "The black hole". They named it so it isn't racist.

We had Geekwads and Dorkwads. T’was a dark time.

That all changed when they signed the historic Wad Accord in 1992.

Back in Tulsa, they called us Greasers, and we called the rich assholes Socs. It was cool until a church roof fell on my buddy. My brothers Darry and Sodapop didn't understand me from then on.

While you're correct about it not being racist bc they named it, the fact that y'all made them eat at a separate table is racist.

I didn't know that having names for cliques was a thing outside of movies. I guess we called the place where all the black guys hung out in the commons the brotherhood or something like that. But that wasn't really a clique so much as a central meeting place. The black guys tended to have friends outside of that group. It was just something of a show of solidarity.
