In the post before yours, my brothers best friend that had the 68 Camaro had a GTO like this before the Camaro. The muscle car days were the best!

Jaguar XKE. It cost about $6,000.00 at the time. I joined the Navy and was paid $78.00 a month.
The dream died before I could afford one.

I had an RX-7 and loved it. The 280zx could beat me in a straight line but I could smoke them on a curvy road. (Even though I did put mine in a ditch a few times) I don’t even come here with that the Supra shite.
I wanted a black 911 turbo with a whale tail. But as my friends used to say to me
“ Bro that car in your hands will be zero to death in less than 10 seconds. “
In the muscle cars I was a mustang guy. Like the 72

Teal 95 Trans AM(his fav)
Black 97 TA
Black 2015 camaro ZL1 that was modded out and pushes around 1200hp. A 10 sec car.
He raced many people on the quarter mile track for fun. Im not sure that car has ever seen a set of tail lights. He still has that car today stored away. 10 years old and has around 6k miles on it.

I always wanted, and still want, a 64 1/2 or 65 mustang. I snuck off one day as a 17 year old to this small country dealership (1996) that had a 69 mustang. I talked the fella into letting me drive it. I dang near cried when I drove it back on the lot. The guy knew there was no way is was selling me, a 17 year old, that car…but he could tell how much I loved it.
To this day I don’t know why he let me drive it. Maybe he could see how much I wanted to just drive it. I’m thankful he did. It was that mustang green color. Black interior. He made my year letting me do that.

I started driving in 2005, and my dad had saved his 1997 F-150 for me. It was a good truck and it had a brush guard and a winch. I put some tires and exhaust on it. I had a lot of fun in that truck, but I dreamed of having an early to mid 90's Eddie Bauer Bronco or a 2 door Tahoe. It's crazy what all the older 4 wheel drives have gone to. I remember when square body Chevy's were a dime a dozen. The other day, I saw a 1996 Silverado 1500 online, red single cab z-71, I believe it had 90,000 miles or so, and they were asking $28,500 for it.
