Academics wise none really. I hated gym. I can pick up a book and learn a lot. But being graded on how good I was at golf, when we played it for a week just wasn't my thing. I'm extremely unathletic. Having to swim as one of the activities was also a pain. I can swim, but shoving it into one period during the middle of the school day is dumb.

I have to be honest
I’m now 34 and I still have dreams of high school
But in all actuality I can’t remember a god damn thing from HS
Falling asleep in physics class once is about all I’ve got

None. High school classes aren’t hard.

I really hated Algebra II, and as a result I didn't do very well. I had no problem with geometry, calculus, etc., because the material seemed relevant and new. Algebra II was just redundant and irrelevant in comparison. All that "factoring" long polynomials... you just guess at shite until something works anyway. Why in the ever-living frick do we put people through this stuff?

That's a no brainer for any St. Paul's grad: Scoriels' Civics class senior year--especially the days he'd pop in episodes of the West Wing while he nursed a hangover (which was most days). I learned everything I know about American government from Martin Sheen.

Holy shite yes. I also remember in World History how we got the teacher to delay teaching in class just about every other day by asking to see Jimmy V’s don’t give up speech.
What was the fat American history teachers name from Boston?

Honors English I, my freshman year. Teacher was a bitch who would ask questions on her exam like, “what did the author mens when he said X?” Well bitch, the only person who knows what the author meant was the author, otherwise if I give an answer and can provide reason and logic behind why I felt that way, then my answer is right. It’s kinda the beauty of literature classes, you can essentially always be right if you provide reasoning behind why you feel the way that you do.
Anyway, yes I cheated as honors classes weren’t required, but all of the required classes were easy as shite.

Mrs. Martin... she was Miss Martin for a long time, then she married Sgt. Martin. So she was Mrs. Martin.
Sgt. Martin died shortly after they married.
ETA you have to read this in her voice.

Chemistry for sure. Had a really good teacher, but he was tough as all hell and taught us at an actual high college level.
He also taught Anatomy and Physiology. When I arrived at college and that was my class, I was literally given my high school textbook. I probably studied a grand total of five hours for that class over the semester due to my former teacher and just aced it. Everyone else struggled. He was a really, really good teacher, perhaps the best I’ve ever had.

Believe it or not, American History…teacher focused the tests on minute details he discussed in class instead of the facts and reasons behind them.
That was just story time to me. I showed up to pretty much the last day of exams and I believe it was English of which I was exempt. Had a guy who owed me like $100 and I knew he wasn’t exempt from the exam so I waited for him from the very start of the exam so he’d be forced to pay me after dodging me for weeks.
My history teacher saw me in the hall waiting and asked me to help him grade the history exams which he knew I knew all this shite and intentionally made that exam easy unlike the others just hoping these morons would pass. It was actually fun, because many of these people were still Grade-A morons and still failed. One of which I’ll never forget: “German Chancellor from 1933-1945.” He picked JFK for it.

I said Algebra II, too. It's not that intellectually challenging, but it was boring and repetitive. I really struggled to force myself to do it, especially at the end. I think my grades were A, A, B, and C over the four quarters of that year.
