I was a "Sandwich Artist" at Quiznos. When I graduated high school I had moved up to shift manager.

First time ever working was going on painting jobs with my dad over the summer. I was 10 and had to sand baseboards. He gave me my first and last dip, Kodiak, turned green and puked. First job after I turned 16 was bag boy, cart pusher at The Real Superstore on Greenwell Springs Rd.

butcher helper in a cajun meats store.
learned how to work hard, how to cook and how to handle shitty customers.
ETA: All those skills help me in my current career in sales (oil/gas) so I'm thankful for the job.

Ditto. I mowed a cemetery in high school and the pay was terrific. The only problem was that they paid in seasons and retroactively, so I got paid a lump sum in May for the spring, August for the summer and around October for the fall. Still, it was fantastic money to a high school kid trying to stow away some cash for the good times to be had in college.

my first real job was as an intern for a local commercial electric contractor. I worked my summers with my dad on our family's land as a slave_ er, I mean, laborer...

First Under the Table Pay: 2nd grade I folded or assembled the boxes that bakeries use to put lots of pastries. It was a mom and pop shop, at first they paid me $5 a day for about 2 hours worth of work. This was huge money for the card shop mom would always take me to on Saturday morning.
