Had this bad sumbitch but dark green. Got it in 2001 and drove it for 3 years until some dipshit pulled out in front of me about 3 weeks before I graduated high school. Turned it into a damn triangle.

Bought with my own money in 96 a shite brown 84 Dodge Daytona. You would crank it and the engine would rev to 5000 rpm and slowly climb back down to normal. Replaced many a throttle position sensor in ole brown lassy. It was never the throttle position sensor.

Same here. Loved that car. My dad bought it without and engine and he found an engine for it. He did all the mechanic work in it.

1983 F-150

Looked exactly like this with a 351 Windsor.

The gas gauge didn’t work so running out of gas wasn’t unusual. $5 burned quick

1981 ford ranger 2wd, manual, plexiglass roll up windows, no heater, no power steering. $800.

I was born in 1979.

Truck lasted about a year.

I would not go this route with your son unless you had a backup plan.

1979 cream colored Buick Regal. It made this clicking noise, so we called it the "Stinger".

1965 Olds 442 4 speed. Born in 1969.

Manual steering and 4 wheel drum brakes. Went like hell in a straight line. Absolute bear to drive around town with the big block and no power steering.
