My first car was a 1979 Toyota Corolla SR5 Hatchback (white with blue interior) excellent condition, 2700 bucks LOL

I actually didn't like it too much, all the cool kids drove a Camero with killer wheels and sound system...the old man said the corolla "it's great dependable car at a good price"

My 2nd car was a 1979 RX7...really enjoyed that car...3800 bucks in OK condition...I put a lot of money into it...

trying to help my son find his first car

ah...it's not easy...

random thoughts:

1. Don't give him something too nice
2. Don't give him something too cheap that might give him lots of problems, which will give a lot of problems
3. safety features available in newer cars is very important...
4. something he likes...
5. something that won't find too much attention
6. In NC insurance is ridiculous for first year drivers

1987 Plymouth Reliant. Piece of crap. I called it the Holiday car because one year it broke down on every major holiday. After having it two years I got lucky and had someone with insurance hit it one day.
