In 1973, 235 cid Blue Flame Six, three on the tree:

The old man paid $500.00 for it from the original owner.



Once I got to really driving:

1970 Cutlass SX 350 cid, Auto.

Clone of this one except white roof & no hood stripes.

was way more fun to drive than cars these days. No power steering.

1976 Olds Delta 88 convertible. Many, many mechanical problems but it was glorious.

Ford Maverick. 1971 I think. It was lime green with a.m. radio and no a/c.

4door GMC Jimmy. Parents were nice enough to buy it for me. I was kind of an entitled prick and didn't like it all that much.

78 Ford Grenada Primer, with everything busted including the windshield (I drove it through a lot of stuff). Lovingly called “the grenade”

1980 Volvo 242. My dad bought it off a guy from church for $800 in 1993.

It was a money pit. Every motor mount, clutch, head gasket, shifting forks, rear main seal, not to mention standard stuff like brakes.

I drove it for 2 1/2 years, put about 25k on it and spent about 3 grand on it.

Traded it in for 500 bucks on a used 93 Saturn in 1996.
