I've dealt with this kind of thing for like 10 years on and off. Also on one side. All kinds of urology visits etc were all negative. Turned out to be hypertonic pelvic floor caused by anxiety and muscle tension. Was debilitating at times. Went to a physical therapist and sorted it out in a few weeks but takes ongoing management. Look into that as a possibility.

Back when r/watchpeopledie was a thing on reddit I saw some shite...
Have you tried flashing your R7000 with DD-WRT? It will give it a new lease on life with lots of options for configuration and optimization. I started having drops on my R7000P a while ago, installed DD-WRT and its been rock solid ever since. If/when that thing ever dies, my plan is to invest in a UniFi system. I've heard good things about the Dream Machine (but its $299).

It should have been put down over a tamped and leveled aggregate, but it doesn't need rebar if its fibermesh. Regardless, it'll be fine.
