1978 Volkswagon Scirocco, pretty much this same color, but with pin stripes. I always thought the single windshield-wiper was cool:
bought it used from a family friend for $2,500 in 1981. It was a pretty basic car with few bells and whistles, but I loved it and got every penny out of it I put into it.

1982 Nissan Stanza. My brother actually gave it to me for free, buy I had to replace the transmission, exhaust system, the cold start part of the computer, and put new tires on it. Did not feel like a free car.

Paid $1500 in 1975. Right away paid another $100 to have the front seats reupholstered. A week or two later $450 for a new transmission. Perfect after that.

1993 GMC Sierra 1500. Single cab with a 350 V8. That thing hauled arse and sounded great. Stock exhaust sounded like Flowmaster.
