One day I arrested some guy. Said his street name was Licky. He looked just like a woman and was very pretty in makeup. I asked him if he ever got his arse beat when guys find out he’s a dude. I worked some cr#p hole areas when I lived in L.A.
The Fashion District, Skid Row if it is still call it that, and West Adams were no walks in the park. I almost think West Adams was worse than Compton.
I hope they are better areas than they were when I lived in L.A.
They had other units that would deal with the prostitutes that were worth anything.
We dealt with creatures that you would look at them and go no one can seriously be this high to mess with.
Most of them had mental issues.
They had a few dudes that looked like ladies back then working the streets.
That would always result in a fight where we got involved.
Had a few that were stretch pants back in the late 80's with the big hair and you wondered how those pants did not blow. One of these creatures got out of a 1980's era Ford Escort after giving a bj to a customer. I swore that Ford 2 door Escort raised 8" up off the ground.
In the 1980's Aids was a problem and there were a few skinny ones that were just skin and bones working these areas. Looked like walking Skeltons.
The creatures of the night we ran into on patrol were down right scary.
Most would not make an OT 1.
