Monsanto and the suicide gene, along with them having authority to sue after their crops infect others, is pure evil.

Or listen to farmers who have lost their farms, perhaps.
Not about GMOs, about monopoly.

Well hell if you ask liberals any corporation that wants to make the most money possible is evil which is every one so I'd have to say the answer is.....make money.

I was expecting my christmas bonus this year and had already written a check to cover an inground pool. When the bonus finally did come, it was a year membership to jelly of the month club. That was pretty shitty

over 11,000 lives and they paid a whopping $470 mil.

Sad but I've actually seen where the bean counters assign dollars to lives and do metrics to decide risk.... how in the frick does 470 mm cover thousand of lost lives? IT DOES NOT! even in India.

Nothing is "evil" if it increases profit, that's basic economics. Why do you hate capitalism?

Or if you actually opened your eyes and thought for yourself you would realize that some of these companies willingly engage in activities that hurt or kill up to thousands of people... to make money.

I could disagree actually. Let's say those workers make $1/ hour which may be very high. $470 mil/ 11,000 is $42,000. Multiply that by the USA min wage and that's $300,000. That's more life insurance than most people have. Is it fair? Certainly not, but I wouldn't say it's a horrible deal either.

The Pennsylvania Railroad dammed a small river in the mountains of western Pennsylvania and built a private hunting and fishing lodge for its executives. On May 31, 1889 the dam collapsed, wiping out the town of Johnstown and killing 2200 people. The railroad fought the resulting lawsuits tooth and nail, and eventually paid almost nothing.

a lot of those deaths were children, WTF though about familes that had to burry babies and those much younger 300k wont bring them back.....and those affected by the deaths....it just extrapolates exponentially, I get the economics but the ethics and morality suck.... i've been on both end of MGMT so I understand but it was still a horrible deal, I could have brought up Chernobyl.... I think we agree here all in all
