Has to be independent action with no prompting from government or outside sources.

Just got finished watching Enron: Smartest Guys In the Room.

Definitely assholes who probably caused people to die with the shite they were doing in California.

But then what about a Monsanto. What do you got.

Nestle is pretty hated. I know in the 70s they were accused of marketing baby formula in 3rd world countries. Gave away free formula, mothers would quit producing milk, and then couldn't afford the formula.

Not much in recent history can compare with the mining/railroad companies in the early US.

I was going to say Topf and Sons, but they only designed and built the crematoriums that were used AFTER gassing human being in concentration camps.

I couldn't find references to the company that designed and built the actual gas chamber facilities. But that's my vote.

ETA: In light of further research, it appears Topf & Sons may have actually designed and built the gas chambers and ovens.

Chiquita Banana.

United Fruit Company (Great New Orleans connection under Sam 'The Banana Man' Zemurray).

Basically take your pick of innocent-seeming fruit companies that do business in South & Central America - they've all had their hand in political coups, terrible workers' rights' abuses, and other crazy stuff.

You should probably remove "private" because I think you're limiting this more than you intended.

The answer is probably Comcast, Charter or AT&T. All have been engaged in subtle customer service terrorism against the American people for decades
