My Golden Retriever , Rosceaux. He’s got about a month left due to cancer.
He’s a loan on happiness. Not looking forward to paying the interest I’ve accrued.

Long ago when I was 10. Had a soup bone mix of Rhodesian Ridgeback & Lab. Kime was his name. Saved a little being attacked by a German Shepard which was my brother-in-laws dog.
Ole Kime flew in like a bat outta hell. And unleashed hell on the GS. Keep him pinned down on the ground by the throat until the girl was safe. Ole Kime was a pretty laid back gentle dog but when it got time to open a can of whoop arse, look out.
Best damn dog I ever had and will ever have.

Same. 3 dogs in my life, I’d give anything to have them all back.

Toss up between our 1st family dog that lived to 18 (rat terrier), our 1st rescue (Bella the Beagle) & my current dog (Boxer)
It’s hard to decide, each has their own personalities & each does something special that you remember them by

Yellow lab named Cheyenne. Her last few months she had bad arthritis, yet even on cold mornings she would hobble in the living room, obviously painfully, just to lie down at my feet as I sat on the couch watching tv before going to work.

1. Border Collie - fantastic dog and bulletproof with children (she was used to get kids who had suffered from dog bites back to being comfortable with dogs).
2. Aussie Shepherd - current dog, steadfastly protective, copperhead slayer, very loyal and courageous
3. Belgian Malinois - great dog, well trained and obedient, protective and fearless
