We already pay reparations. It’s called taxes and insurance premiums.

We pay federal tax, state tax, SSI, property tax, sales tax, full prices for groceries, sky high health insurance and deductibles.

We fund food stamps, WIC, free daycare, free school lunches, free k-12, free college grants, SSI for people who don’t work or pay into the system, give $3,000-7,0000 in cash every year to them for having kids out of wedlock, top notch free healthcare, free housing, lower interest rates/down payment minority loans, job/college admission preferences. What else is there to pay for or give away?

For public companies, I see something such as a requirement from exchanges or the SEC to have some sort of diversity committee and policies related to ensuring diversity within the organization. A liberal administration's SEC may create a set of disclosure rules for public filings related to diversity at a public company. This wouldn't necessarily compel diversity in fact, but requiring disclosure would make a lot of companies think about it to avoid the black eye. Especially considering shareholder services are already building in policies to provide no votes for companies and boards that don't meet certain diversity standards they've created. Of course, the big guys will be able to do this but it could be a lot more difficult for small and mid cap companies, per usual.
