What type of dog is this? Purebred lab or mix?

Does anyone know what type of lab mix this is? or purebred? It showed up at a family member's house. It is black all over with a big of white on its feet. No bullet holes from police yet. It looks to be about 8-12 weeks and extremely malnourished.

Update: I got the puppy yesterday. He looks much better from a week of eating. He is so clumsy and awkward when he walks, eats, or pretty much does anything. He is very calm and takes direction very well for a young pup. He has only barked one time when my moms Maltese came at him aggressively. Left him home alone for a bit outside the crate and he didn't tear into anything and had no accidents. The dog is a champ.

Dear god please tell me they are taking care of that pup. Poor thing.
I can't say if it is mixed or purebred because it is so hard to tell with puppies.

Looks like a black lab to me. Mine had a white patch on his chest until he was like a year old

No idea, but feed him small portions of food at a time. If you let him gorge, it will cause issues.

I think it may be a Lab-Boxer mix given then the docked tail.
But yeah, it needs some care regardless of the breed.

I vote lab boxer mix as well.
