New Roads.

It is stuck up for no reason, French, some Cajun, some Creole, bougie, agricultural, sugar cane, on the water, rich and poor. White and black. Segregated and mixed. Very Louisiana.

That’s a tough call. Finding the right blend of coonass and red neck to rep the state isn’t easy.

If that’s the main ingredients then perhaps lake Charles?

They have zero Italian influence though and that’s big in southeast Louisiana

Laffy and the golden meadow to lake charles type areas so that a good mixture of swamp and marsh and coastal heritage/culture mixed in.
Then ya have central and Nla which starts out like Mississippi then you bloom into Tx/Rkansas types that have no clue who or what they claim. They hate South La and don't claim anything South Louisiana at all.
They love the Texans or Cowboys and try and separate themselves from SLA as much as possible.
