My neighbor has 2 pits that have tried to get to me before. It sucks because I want to get a dog but am afraid it would just get killed by the pits.
Between our property, there is a chain link fence and a wooden fence right up against each other. One day when I was in my back yard, one of them saw me and jumped over the chain link fence on their side and got wedged between the 2 fences. He found a weakness in the wooden fence and pushed it over enough to get through but he was tethered. It’s not always tethered though.
Every time I think about getting a dog I think about how desperate that pit was to get to me and how it even managed to get through double fencing to do it. And what it would do to a sweet little puppy if it got to it.

Why don't you get that aluminum bat from slow-pitch, beer league, and go stand in the front yard with it? When he comes to attack you, hit a home run.

I was in a similar situation, but the HOA had the "neighbors" removed. Some of the perks of living in a HOA type hood.

Sorry you have an absolute braindead P.O.S. for a neighbor. We can pick our friends, but not our relatives, or neighbors, at least not AFTER we move in to the house.

Umm, so you killed an aggressive stray. Big deal. Who do you think is going to come after you about that?

You got me on this one baw. What am I supposed to do? Read it poetry until it hangs itself?
Well, that would be a quick way to get rid of it.

Man I'm a big time dog lover and I'd rarely reccomend shooting a dog but if it's arse serious as you say next time that sucker gets after you put a few rounds in it. Make it quick, please. I hate suffering.

Report this to the pool board.

I hate pitbulls, or all attack type dogs for that matter.
You just cannot trust them, ever.

What type of people are the neighbors? I think I know the answer but I would try to have an adult discussion with them before I dropped the dog where it stands
