What things were you interested in doing, until you found out the dangers of?

For me it is Deep Sea Diving.
Since, I was a kid I had many blissful dreams about the oceans, swimming with aquatic humanoids, riding on top of the loch ness monster, stumbling across buried treasure, and unearthing some uncanny discoveries from beneath such as underground structures and sunken ships, in addition to oceanic clean up, which would benefit the environment and humanity.
However, all my dreams of wanting to become a hobby diver dissolved when I read about Delta P.

Having fireworks wars.
That shite used to be fun as hell.. But after a jumping jack gets into your jacket and you burn up a new shirt that your mom told you to not wear until the school year starts because you were filling up a match box with gunpowder from a blackcats then lighting it.. without washing your hands or anything else on you that had gunpowder residue on you as well as the occasional black cat blowing up in your hand or getting hit with a roman candle, you start to question whether the fun is worth it.

Personally I don’t consider scuba diving dangerous unless you are doing something like exploring caves or diving in extreme cold.
