Cordial cherries. The ones with cherry liquor.

ETA: Frozen, not refrigerated.

I know a recent disagreement in the voltiger household stemmed from ms. Vol liking her bottle water room temp, I, obviously being an intellectual, prefer my water to be damn near frozen. It pisses me off honestly even now having to discuss this. I mean it’s August in Louisiana, grow up!

I like everything that has been posted and also..

Fried fish (crappie bass or bream), but that's not always available unless you've got friends willing to share - I like fried catfish cold with cold tartar sauce

Mary Lee Bear Claws - I keep them wrapped in plastic wrap or in a zip-lock to keep from drying out

Spaghetti with the sauce mixed in, even better if there are a few cold meatballs

Combination fried rice

jambalaya or dirty rice

fried chicken, but it depends on the breading - some of the breading comes out mushy and is not very good

barbequed chicken, or sausage, and cold baked beans

cold meatloaf for sandwiches

cracklins - my favorite are from "Charlie T's in Breaux Bridge -

I try to never leave good leftovers in a styrofoam container - that is a leftover killer - I either wrap in plastic wrap or put into a zip-lock bag

Thin Oreos in the freezer are my go to snack.
Started because it takes about a month for me to go through a pack. First one I ate out of the freezer was an epiphany.

Every time I fire up the smoker I do extra meats to vacuum seal and freeze for later. Every time I thaw a pack and eat it, I find the flavors have intensified and the texture of the meat is at least as good than when freshly cooked.

I think I may actually prefer my ribs out of the freezer. May try a comparison this weekend

Not to knock the answers some of y'all are giving, but this thread says what is better cold.. not what is just good cold. Y'all mfers really like fridge chicken over fresh out of the grease crunchy chicken? Cold jambalaya over jambalaya that just finished cooking and being fluffed in the pot?

Cold congealed spaghetti over hot spaghetti with Parmesan grated freshly on top?

I get that these are often better cold than microwaved left over, but no way are they better cold than when freshly cooked.

Apple pie.

My grandma used to put up pies in the deep freeze and I'd get one out and carve off a chunk. She eventually just left a knife in the freezer for me. I'm 50 now and I still prefer it that way.

Still to this day I’ll prefer an ego waffle straight from the freezer than toasted.
