Many in this thread seem to have failed to understand the OP’s question.
This isn’t a “which state has the least redeeming qualities or things to do”, it’s which state do you literally forget exists.
I’ll say a toss up between Rhode Island and Delaware.

I don't really care, honestly. Glad to say I don't have a lot of experience with heroin
Damn right.
I actually moved away from Florida as a kid because of pills. 12ish years ago, I couldn't meet a woman anywhere that didn't ask about pills within minutes of meeting her. And I'm not even opposed to drug use. But I don't frick with physically addictive drugs (except coffee and unfortunately still cigarettes).
I moved to Asheville, where the drugs used were a lot more fun and less addictive.

Rhode Island is at least famous for sailing. It's supposedly some of the best in the world. But Delaware has nothing.
So I'll go with either Delaware or North Dakota.

Yeah, Delaware isn't much bigger in area than Rhode Island, and lacks a sizable metropolitan city, unlike RI.

I did not know they were the richest state.
I wish they were not so forgettable so everybody would know that the government of the richest state is a basket case because then the next question would be, "Who runs their government?"

Oklahoma. Went to Tulsa for a few days, extremely boring. Crossing the state line between Oklahoma and Texas, the fields turned from brown to green. So, literally, the grass was greener on the other side.

Newport, RI, is one of the coolest places I've ever visited.

"Coolest" might be a stretch, but it is a very scenic and beautiful town.
I worked there for a while.

Number1 is Kansas.
Wall to wall nothing.
Number 1A is Iowa.

Oklahoma, Arkansas, Delaware

Delaware has the whole "corporate haven" thing so I don't think that's is easily forgettable. Most fortune 500 companies are registered there.
I'll go with New Hampshire. I don't know shite about it.

Delaware. I strictly know it as being business-friendly and an excellent place to incorporate an entity.
