Meaning, what state do you almost forget exists until it randomly gets brought up?

I'd have to go with Delaware. I honestly don't know what goes on in that state, good or bad.

I'd have to agree with Rhode Island.

North and South Dakota.

Even the movie Fargo essentially took place in the state of Minnesota.

If I didn't know someone from there, I would probably forget it exists

South Dakota. All it has is a rock formation. Completely forgettable. Say what you will about Mississippi, but we're known worldwide! The Chinese taxi drivers all knew that place.

That's objectively false simply due to the Jersey Shore. Doesn't mean the worst state, just the one no one thinks about. People repeatably bring up Jersey as a shithole.

got hammered with a guy from Delaware during a layover in Atlanta. Was one of the greatest times I’ve ever had in an airport. Delaware is legit

Definitely Rhode Island or Delaware. Maybe Vermont.

I would have said Rhode Island, but at least they have Newport. It's not much, but people know of it and visit.

I can't say there's a single place in Delaware I've heard of as being a vacation spot. I'm sure they exist, but for the life of me I have no idea where that is.

That's a pretty great thing to have. I've heard it's gorgeous, but it's in the middle of nowhere.

If they know Mississippi, it's either because of the river, or reasons you shouldn't be proud about.

It's spelled "peasants" and I've actually heard there's some decent money to be had out there.
