Agree, I don't see it as any correlation to amount of education, rather an emotional bandwagon jumping in response to a feeling of helplessness regarding frustrating socio-political trends.

And passion is the true enemy of reason. It is the case for all of us, even the most intelligent of us and he evokes that emotions and yes IMHO manipulates them to the point that he is defended even when reason says he should not be. Blacks did and do blindly support all Obama says and does in the same way.
