We're thinking about building a porch. It'll really class up the double-wide

You can buy paint stripper from Home Depot that works pretty good. The paint on my trim was so bad that I'm just peeling it off in strips.

Took out all the old flooring and bottom 4 feet of Sheetrock. Also took out the kitchen island and lower cabinets. Replaced as cheaply as possible.

House was built in the 1920s and when I moved in every window was painted shut, as were the sidelights for the front door. I have operating sidelights and I’m having the windows restored to original a few at a time.

There are lots of skeleton key locks around this place, and I had new keys made for each lock so they’re all operable.

Had the solid core cypress rail and stile doors refinished.

The privacy hedge was way out of control. I used a pole saw and a wood chipper to bring those back to reasonable dimensions.

Had a soft spot in the laundry room floor that’s repaired, and the flooring at the back of the house is reinforced.

Currently completely remodeling the walkin closet for the master BR.

The lightbulb over the kitchen sink burned out, so I called the building manager and they had maintenance come and replaced it.

I don't understand why bidets aren't a standard household item in a country like the United States? I've never used one but it makes perfect sense.
