My SIL made more as a bartender in ATL than she makes with her engineering degree from Georgia Tech. She makes good money and has a 9-5 to raise a family and all that, but a good bartender at a nice place in a big city can make a lot of money. And there is an art to it. It's not just opening beers.

Big city or college town
My cousin was one of few main bartenders at Highlands in Auburn for a while during the early 2000s. He was making $100k a year easily working 4 nights a week.
And he was ploughing a canal through campus. Just ridiculous. I used to be thoroughly jealous of the life he was enjoying.
I still am, but I used to too.

I’m a product manager for an earthmoving equipment manufacturer and I get laid 2-3 times a week. And by the same woman for 26 years and counting.

Lol. Most of the younger crowd won’t get this.
Of all the jobs I had, working as a waiter or bartender when the ratio is a lot greater female to male is crazy. I’d end up banging almost all of them working there. It’s like a competition between the women fighting for your attention. But the odds have to be in your favor.
