IRS. Think about it, no one is going around offering up to people that they work at the IRS.

I don’t get this

If I was with the IRS, I’d be like “they have a bad reputation, not me”

I don’t like CEOs that much…

Why narrow it down? Does anyone think that we need more lawyers? People pursue this profession because they are attracted to the idea of making money by bullshitting people. Ist year law students might be naive enough to think they will be standing up for what is right, but a deeper study of the profession demonstrates that at its highest level, influence trumps righteousness. Look at the US Supreme Court. 9 lawyers look at the same US Constitution, the same set of facts, and have access to the same case law. Yet they still end up with 5-4 decisions. Political influence tips the scales. Outside the USSC, the winner still out influences the other side. Can someone tell me what area of law is actually honorable?

I do patent litigation. We generally have a good rep. Same with m&a, corporate etc..

Generalizing is like saying your run of the mill general practitioner MD is the same as a heart surgeon. Apples and oranges.

I would put some but not all funeral homes in there. Unfortunately I had to bury both of my parents the past couple of years and used two different funeral homes. My dad already had his affairs in order and they were very compassionate. When we had my mom’s funeral it opened my eyes how some funeral homes take advantage on people’s vulnerability at the time. The amount of money it cost to bury someone is getting ridiculous. My mom had a policy that covered the cost, but I feel for the families that aren’t prepared for when that day comes. Like I said some not all. My dads were very friendly and accommodating. My moms weren’t at all. Tried to get us to spend as much as they could get out of my emotional sister.

Why trial lawyers?

They foster the victim mentality. Everyone is a victim to them. It’s part of the trouble with society today. Everyone is entitled to something because they’re a victim.

Or everything requires a lawsuit now. We are a litigious society, especially in LA. There are legitimate reasons for lawyers to exist obviously but there are so many of them because people want to get paid for nothing.

Teachers, and yes there are some good ones. But it’s the Karen, poor me, I work so hard, my job is so stressful, don’t make enough constant complaining ones that just makes me hate all of them.

Politicians
Telemarketers

At least a Fluffer on a porn set is working/full-filling what's asked of them UNLIKE politicians ..."start working for us the American People for a change" and telemarketers "stop calling us"

Without lawyers you wouldn’t even be able to post that, lawyers are scumbags, people are and the law is twisted into ways that allow pos with money to do whatever

Not all lawyers are scumbags.

95% are though. They try and keep everything open as long as possible because they know they charge by the hour, by the email ,visit ,by the phone call etc...They say they care but they really dont. They just want to find the best way they can get the most money out of you in the end.
Lawyers are the true scum of the earth followed by HR,Politicans in a close second and third .

I broke down on the interstate just North of Laurel,Ms. On a Saturday. Googled “wreckers near me. “. The driver answered on the second ring. Had me loaded up on his wrecker 17 minutes after I called.

I had lost my fan belt and asked him to bring me to Laurel to buy a breaker bar and belt. He brought me to his mechanic friend instead. The mechanic had a man in town who picked up a belt who then came install it. Wrecker bill 100.00 cash. Mechanic bill 75.00 including belt and coolant !

And the mechanic’s wife made us all a sandwich. to the good ones.

That guy deserves recognition. Can you give out his name?
