What percentage of the American population do you think finish college?

Is it over 50%? What was it 25 years ago?

I'm positive you could find these statistics on Google.

That seems like something with a definitive answer that doesn't require opinion based discussion.

Off-topic, but what, in y'all's opinion, is the distance of the Earth from the Sun?

Dude, like only 80% finish high school. It's way less than 50% of those that finish college. I'd say its closer to 20%.

On average, about 93 million.

I could be wrong, I am one dumb motherfricker, but I believe he was asking how many complete college, after enrollment.

More than there are jobs for college graduates

And, about 80% of those go to law school. And about 95% of those are unemployed.

Well, let me explain my very basic reasoning. When he says that 50% of people complete college, I then tell him that around 80% of students graduate high school, and that chart looks around 85% to where I wasn't far off. Now in my mind, if 15% of students don't finish high school, then it's pretty likely that more than half of that remaining 85% is not going to finish college. In fact, I'm thinking only a little over half make it to college in the first place (and no, junior college doesn't count, since it's merely high school with ash trays), and almost half of my graduating class didn't make it because they're a bunch of frick-ups. So I thought that it was around 25% and it seems that that chart supports my hypothesis.

Reasoning 101, LOL.
He used the word finished, as in began and completed, then asked specifically if it was over 50%, which is the approximate number of people that enroll in a 4 year college and complete their degree. Meaning, the graduation rate, which currently sits around 55-60%
I can't help the fact that this place is devoid of writing ability.

The actual number is 28.9%
Y'all know it's available by looking at the census, right?
