I knew some old hard hats are collectibles (don’t ask me why). I found that one at a garage sale for 50¢. I risked it. Some of those hard hats bring big money. The ones from the same company as the one I sold, but made of fiberglass, bring 100’s of dollars.

I’m surprised you can legally resell hard hats. If you buy bike helmets or climbing helmets new from a store, some places won’t accept them as returns.
You can sell them...but you aren't supposed to wear them for impact protection beyond 5 years past issue date (2 years in extreme use...ie foundry, etc...).

Some people like it. Some people loathe it. A lot just don’t care. Either way I can’t seem to dam the words up, so I just let them flow. Get the poison out.

That vintage safety razor with a wooden handle is sweet

Another poster directly asked me whether my hobbies make more money than antique
And that question was directly asked to you because you were already in here displaying your tiny dick complex.

Again, this guy really sucks

Did you ever sell that Mexican guy's painting you got in Denham Springs?

Now do a breakdown of all the hours you spend shopping, cleaning up items, photographing, posting, boxing and shipping, fuel burned driving around and share what you are making per hour.

I would have been on that Jeremy Bulloch 8x11
I have the signed Darth Vader photos from JE Jones & David Prowse, but Jeremy Bulloch probably has the best looking signature of all.

Holy shite. That was longer than the longest babe thread I've ever seen.
Junk or not, or whatever, you're definitely an attention whore.

I don’t know why it has Germany in the description, but if I had an old violin that said Stradivarius on it anywhere I would have seriously had it appraised. Those things can bring insane money.

I don't fault him for the hobby or the enterprising. I find the threads interesting.
I just don't really think "antiques" re: reselling dated (but not really interesting) electronics and stadium cups. He does occasionally have some genuinely interesting stuff, but most of it is just picking over yard sales to make 5 bucks here, 12 bucks there. I guess it's a reasonable way to make some money if you enjoy it.

I bought that same Mylar Kiss poster for four bucks back in 1977….

I don't fault him at all. He will run into one of those treasures that have a big payoff before I will.
I was just having fun with him is all. I didn't mean to detract from what he enjoys doing. People spend a hell of a lot more money on hobbies and he is making money.
Damn, If I had read the whole thread I would have never posted the above, I was just playing. Some here are really attacking you over your hobby. It's a hobby people. I spend more money on my Hobby then he is earning. He also has a chance to pick a real money making item that has been hidden in gramma's attic through that hobby. Some are really rustled over this thread.

I kinda enjoy his posts but having been part of and been to a few estate sales the hardcore bargain hunters that show up are the absolute worst
Also he’s a dick on the food board

What I learned in this thread - Judas Priest and Kiss fans will spend more than Iron Maiden fans.

You should write it down on a pad then for yourself.

So basically, your post is an unpaid ad for your eBay listings, am I right?
