This is sooner than most people realize.

We will find evidence of life on another planet in 5-20 years. Biggest discovery of all time.

It will probably be an amalgamation of the technology you listed... in that, a cell/phone “implant” or something of the sort.
If you’ve seen “Altered Carbon” on Netflix, I could see society going in that direction... being able to download/save “consciousness” and put it in another “host” (for a hefty price of course)

cheap and effective male birth control.
It will change everything.
Imagine easy access to a pill that will sterilize a male for months at a time. The political shakedown will be very interesting. Makes abortion in the states almost obsolete.

That would be immoral. You're taking away women's rights. If the guy is on the pill then she doesn't get to choose whether or not she wants to be pregnant.

Can you imagine what that might mean to the logistics industry if they came up with an "engine" that negated the weight of shipping containers? You could use 4 cylinder engines to pull LTL loads. would literally revolutionize how we get things done in the world.
Drone technology for commercial shipping

because men generally don't want to get women pregnant and will use the easiest course of action to get there.
Women have access to birth control fairly easily for less than a tank of gas a month, but won't take it for a variety of reasons (like my s/o, who says it fricks up her hormones)
condoms suck. a pill would change everything.

there would most assuredly be some unintended consequences to the male pill, most likely hormonal as well
women have cheap and effective birth control and still have unwanted pregnancies all the time
it would be the same with men, although it would lower unwanted pregnancies simply by adding another layer of birth control

Genetic engineering in humans
Bingo! I predict the difference maker will be the unforeseen consequences of doing so. We really do not know the consequences of genetic engineering as a world.

You think men won't take it because it makes them feel chubbier or something
are you a dude?

Honestly? Whatever the lads at the LSU gravitron lab are cooking up.
The Gravitron has been around since the early 80s. Still needs improvement, I agree.

I guess we can agree to disagree, but since the beginning of forever ago, men have done whatever it takes to get laid the most frequently with the least amount of consequences.

Cell phone implants.
The phone is in your pocket and we now have a watch. It’s still not good enough so it will be surgically implanted
