I'll start by saying I own two nice suits (no subtle brag) but I have to wear jeans for work. So six, if not all seven, days of the week, I'm in a pair of jeans. I own pairs from Leftfield, Warehouse (Japanese brand) and Imogene + Willie.
I've said this in other jean/denim threads, my I+W's are expensive, 250, but they are made in Nashville, by a husband and wife team. They are fantastic people. They will customize your pair anyway you want.
Your Unbranded are made in Macao. That's why they are 80 bucks. I+W uses raw denim made in the cone mill factories of NC. It's the whole made in America thing that drives the price. Jeans are an American thing, born here.
The Japanese worship our culture, especially the 50s and 60s. They run their cuts off of that era. Google the Osaka 6, its pretty interesting.
Are my jeans better than a regular pair of Levi's or Lee's or the Gap? To each their own. And who cares. Everyone has their own style and desires and willingness to pay what they want, not to necessarily just look good, but feel good, clothes are just an extension of one's skin.
TL/DR. Want a cheaper pair? Cool. But there won't be anyone on here that does any research about Matt and Carrie of Imogene + Willle (her maternal grandparents) that won't at least respect them.

My friend has a pair of I&W and has met the couple. The Nashville clothing scene is growing. There is a lady there (whose name I can't recall) who is making bepoke leather jackets. Also a couple of other people working there who I can't recall.
In addition to I&W and Tellason, I think Rail Car makes their jeans in America. I know Raleigh Denim does too.

OhMy, thanks.
Yeah, Matt and Carrie are great people. Am opening my own store - (not in Nashville, but good on that city) - and received a handwritten letter from her wishing me all the best.
And that's why I didn't, and will never, mind paying what I did for my jeans. Granted I love wearing them, but I'll never get that kind of service, care, love, from a company that makes their clothing overseas.
Again, to each their own when it comes to denim or a shirt, hat, a pair of socks. But I'll never understand knocking someone for what they choose to wear or spend their money on.

People here are laughing at the OP for hemming his jeans and for paying $25 to have them hemmed. What these simpletons don't realize is that the place that charges $25 for the hem uses the same methods as the manufacturer and it won't look like your grandma did it with thread and needle on her kitchen table. Raw jeans generally come in one length only(34 or sometimes 36) and almost always need to be hemmed.
Edit- OP did bring this on himself, not sure why you would ask for fashion advice here

I'm trying to figure out what's going on with your picture-it looks like part of the background is in front of your leg??
I just bought some diesel jeans yesterday, I'll post a pic in a minute. And you came to the wrong place for advice. On the OT, Anyone who thinks about what to wear or puts on something more than a Patagonia pullover is "gay"

Levi's I was looking at were $68 at Macy's yesterday.
80 is not a lot for jeans if you have money. You wear them for years.

but it begs the question though...what do the premium jeans offer? Higher quality fabric, more stylish cut, what?
Bedazzling with rhinestones in the shape of a fleur de lis?

Not being into the men's fashion scene doesn't not necessarily make one a simpleton. Conversely, you may or may not be an uppity, pretentious prick.
I for one don't get why one would buy jeans you're not supposed to wash.

I recently made the switch to skinny jeans (despite not really being a hipster at all) and they're pretty damn amazing. best clothing decision I ever made. It's nice feeling like my clothes actually fit.

But bashing the OP for being into men's fashion does.
