different strokes for different folks but sometimes I feel like I live on a different planet than some people. I cannot fathom either paying that much for a pair of blue jeans or never washing them while I wait for them to fit right

more raw denim for everyone else I guess

But what did you expect when consulting a site for fashion advice where the majority of posters probably wear wranglers and boots

The cultural misconnection (probably not the correct term) is funny.

Be glad you are not a girl. I went into a boutique recently and saw some jeans I liked and wanted to try on. I looked at the price tag and they were almost $200.00!

High quality is the question.

I'm not sure.

I value quality in terms of ruggedness.

Yea, I get a $200 gift certificate to Jean Therapy for my wife and it doesn't cover a pair of jeans. To be fair the 'fit' of jeans is different for women.

Red Head jeans here: I bought 5 pair on sale for $9.99 each. I wash and wear them each week. They fit fine and and they hold up great!

Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Yes, the fit is different for girls. I am short and petite which makes it even harder to shop.
