Are those hobo shoes? You look kind of like you're wearing clown shoes.
I'm all for quality clothing decisions and in a lot of ways you get what you pay for. I'd heard of raw denim but hadn't seen any jeans. After seeing the pic you posted, reading the bullshite you went through with getting them hemmed, and the thought of not washing jeans for a year, no fricking thanks. They look like shite on you, they don't fit you very well. The color is not appealing to me. And you live in the south, you're going to have 6 kinds of dick fungus growing in those things. Do you just stand them up in the corner between wearing?
Give me a nice pair of jeans that have gently faded look to them, fit me well, and are comfortable. I've got a pair of J Crew, 2 pairs of Banana Republics, and a pair of American Eagles. They are "slim fit", but not "skinny" and fit nicely. I had to have the American Eagles tailored because I've got big quads and a narrow waste. So I took it to a Viet Namese tailor lady and she did a great job taking the waist in, you can't even see the seam. It cost me 5 dollars.
Your whole post, and your replies with more details and justifications for your jeans purchase support the old adage "a fool and his money are soon parted".
